
Pearlman Summer Mountain Party

| Where? | The Pearlman Mountain Land off the Peak-to-Peak Highway, north of Ward, west of Jamestown (directions and map at the very bottom of the page). |
| Why? | Because it’s summer and this is the kind of thing that should be done every year. |
| Who’s hosting? | Ben, Kyla, Luke, Caleb, and Asher Pearlman Eve Pearlman and Noam Naveh |
As always, we expect there will be a lot of just hanging around and chatting. In addition, the following will be available:
- Giant chess, giant jenga, and normal-sized cornhole
- Horseshoes and darts
- Supervised archery
- Nature hikes and general exploring including Mt. AshCalUke
- There is a creek to play in if you like really cold water and hiking back up steep meadows.
- If last year is any indication, the kids may organize a huge game of capture the flag in the woods









Come up when you are able. The “doors” officially open at 1:00pm: come and go whenever works for you. We plan to have a campfire (depending on what fire officials have to say about the conditions), and camping is encouraged.

If you haven’t been before, it might be helpful to print or save the directions or map because you likely won’t have internet access most of the way. |
| Food? | Brian List isn’t available this year so we’re ordering from KT’s BBQ. If you are able, please bring something to supplement (a dessert or a side dish). Or anything you’d like to put on the grill. |
| Drink? | Beer, wine, sparkling water, and juice will be provided. Bring other options if you’re so inclined. |
| Can I bring friends? | Please do. The more the merrier. |
| What else should I bring? | Although we’re hoping for sunshine, June in the mountains can mean sun, rain, wind, or all of the above. Dress accordingly. Camping/lawn chairs and blankets are recommended. Additional lawn games are always welcome. Bring all your camping gear if you plan to spend the night. |
| Can I bring my kids? | Please do. They’ll love it. Luke (12), Asher (10), and Caleb (10) are excited to host! |
| Can I bring my dog? | Yes. Nice doggies are welcome. |
| Fireworks? | Nope. Sorry. |
| Facilities? | There is a bathroom inside the cabin. |

Directions
Mapping apps are not reliable, so please follow the directions below. The Party site is located about 50 minutes by car from Boulder. The road is graded yearly but parts are still a bit rough, and high-clearance vehicles are recommended.
From Boulder:
- Make your way to the intersection of Broadway and Lee Hill Drive in North Boulder
- Go west on Lee Hill Drive up and over the hill until it dead-ends at Left Hand Canyon Drive
- Go west (left) and take Left Hand all the way through Ward to the Peak-to-Peak Highway
- Go north on the Peak to Peak 2.3 miles to CR 103
- Go right (east) on CR 103 0.5 miles to CR 100
- Go left (north) on CR 100 0.5 miles to CR 100J
- Go right (east) on CR 100J 0.7 miles to a green gate
- Go through the gate (you may have to open it, but it is unlocked) and then 1.2 miles to Ben and Kyla’s place
- When it opens up into meadow with views of the Divide, you’re almost there.
From Longmont:
- Take 66 through Lyons. Take a left on Highway 7 (toward Allenspark)
- Take a left on Highway 72 (the Peak-to-Peak Highway, toward Ward, Nederland) and go 8 or 9 miles.
- Pass Overland Road and the Boy Scout Camp
- Take a left (east) on CR 103 (it’s 2 miles after Overland Road) and go 0.5 miles to CR 100
- Go left (north) on CR 100 0.5 miles to CR 100J
- Go right (east) on CR 100J 0.7 miles to a green gate
- Go through the gate (you may have to open it, but it is unlocked) and then 1.2 miles to Ben and Kyla’s place
- When it opens up into meadow with views of the Divide, you’re almost there
